Another Course Bites the Dust

The 9-hole McKinney Country Club is going bye-bye. Bids are being taken for the 63-acres the course sits on, with the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary believed to be the top choice. The museum and sanctuary is interested in "restoring the land into a native ecosystem or creating more walking trails." At least the death of this golf course won't result in another DFW strip mall.
