RIP, Bunker Mulligan

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Bunker Mulligan (of www.bunkermulligan.net), who passed away after suffering a heart attack several days ago. I didn't have a chance to take up Bunker on his offer to play golf at NorthShore in Portland, but I'll surely play a round there in his honor soon. As a relatively recent joiner of the ranks of bloggers, I didn't have a chance to get to know Bunker very well, but he was very kind in linking to Texas Golf early on, in dropping me some encouraging emails, and in posting some insightful comments here. Of course, insightful comments are what his own blog was all about.

RIP, Bunker Mulligan.

From the family's post about his passing, funeral arrangements:

Bunker will be laid to rest on Friday, 10 June, at the San Antonio National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we request any memorials for him be made to Homes For Our Troops. Further information can be found at www.homesforourtroops.org.
