Futures Tour Begins Texas Swing

The Futures Tour will be in Texas three of the next four weeks, beginning this weeked in DFW with The Power of a Dream Futures Golf Classic at The Trails of Frisco.

There's a lot going on in women's golf these days, with many, many promising talents on the horizon. A Futures Tour tournament is great way to get up close to some of the LPGA players of tomorrow at events where you don't have to jostle your way through packed crowds to catch just a glimpse of a player.

Players at Frisco this week (the tournament is Friday-Sunday) include U.S. Amateur champ and 2-time Curtis Cupper Jane Park; former Duke All-American Liz Janangelo, who's won once already on the Futures Tour this year; "Big Break" golfers Ashley Prange, Rachel Bailey, Bridget Dwyer, Dana Lacey, Kristina Tucker, Bri Vega and Julie Wells; and former Texas high school and/or college standouts that some of you may remember well, such as Lauren Espinosa, Salimah Mussani and Adrienne Gatreaux.

Here's the schedule for the Texas swing:
