Pilot Lands Plane on Houston National

What makes that such a great photo is that the guy putting seems oblivious to the plane behind him. What would make it even better is if the plane had actually landed while the guy was putting. But alas, that didn't happy. Glad to report, however, that nobody was hurt:

A small, single-engine airplane went down today at a golf course in northwest Harris County but there are no reported injuries, officials said.

The incident happened about 3:20 p.m. at the Houston National Golf Club, 16500 Houston National Blvd.

"He (the pilot) was standing beside (the plane) when I got there," said David Clay, the club's director of golf. "He's obviously a very experienced guy."

Clay reported that there wasn't even any appreciable damage to the golf course.
