Nationwide Tour Championship Heading to DFW

TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney is now part of a three-course rotation of host sites for the Nationwide Tour Championship, the season-ending tournament on the Nationwide Tour schedule.

The addition of TPC Craig Ranch as the host site in 2008 was made by the PGA Tour on Wednesday. The Salesmanship Club of Dallas, which has long been associated with the Byron Nelson Classic, will be the host organization and designated charity.

TPC Craig Ranch joins The Houstonian in Richmond, plus Barona Creek Golf Club near San Diego, Calif., in the three-course rota. These tracks will share hosting duties for the Nationwide Tour Championship in the forseeable future.

The 2008 Nationwide Tour Champion at TPC Craig Ranch is scheduled for Nov. 6-9 and will offer the first $1 million purse in Nationwide Tour history.
