Last week the Northern Texas PGA lost to its southern rivals from the Southern Texas PGA in the annual Joe Black Cup Matches.
But this week, the guys from the NTPGA made up for it at the James P. Jordan Cup Matches, an annual competition between the NTPGA and the South Central PGA, the section representing Oklahoma, Arkansas and southern Kansas. And hey, it's much more important to beat those Okies, isn't it?
The NTPGA didn't just beat the SCPGA, it thrashed its northern and eastern counterpart. In fact, the Jordan Cup matches are still ongoing, but the NTPGA won every match played on Day 1, piling up 12 points to 0 for the SCPGA, and claiming an insurmountable lead.
That's a whuppin'.
