Nicklaus Designing Ultra-Exclusive Course in Prosper

If you're a very Prosper-ous individual who loves golf and exclusivity, you'll probably be interested in BearsBrook Golf Club.

That's the name of a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course that will be built in Prosper, north of Dallas. "The site features 120 feet of elevation changes, thousands of hardwood trees, and meandering streams," the article published on Cybergolf says.

Construction is expected to start in 2009, with the target opening in Fall 2010. When it opens, BearsBrook will be part of something called the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club, "a reciprocity program involving 25 Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in locations around the world."

Only the 35 founders or associate members at each of the member clubs will be able to access all the other courses within the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club. Among the other courses in the club are Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic, The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Fla., and Muirfield Village in Ohio.

Contact info for the BearsBrook development is available in the Cybergolf article linked above.
