2010 Byron Nelson Monday Qualifier Results

Here are the four golfers who played their way into the 2010 HP Byron Nelson Classic in the Monday qualifier:

Bobby Hutcherson, San Marcos, 30-34--64
Trevor Fisher, Fort Worth, 32-32--64
Wil Collins, Albuquerque, N.M., 33-32--65
Jason Schultz, Dallas, 32-33--65

The 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship Open Qualifying Tournament was conducted at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club (Hills Course) in McKinney . 85 players competed for four qualifying spots. The field was comprised of PGA TOUR, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour members, as well as 54 players that advanced to Open Qualifying from Pre-Qualifying.

The four qualifiers were Bobby Hutcherson of San Marcos, Texas, Trevor Fisher of South Africa, Texas, Wil Collins of Albuqeurque, New Mexico and Jason Schultz of Dallas, Texas. Hutcherson and Fisher posted the low rounds of the day with scores of eight-under par, 64.

There was a hole-by-hole sudden playoff with three players who shot seven-under par, 65 competing for the final two spots. The players in the playoff were Wil Collins of Albuquerque , New Mexico , Jason Schultz of Dallas , Texas and Bradley Ott of Frisco , Texas . Collins and Schultz both made par on the first playoff hole to advance to the 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship.

The 2010 HP Byron Nelson Championship will be conducted on May 20-23 at the Four Seasons Resort and Club in Irving, Texas.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo earned a spot in the Monday qualifier field via the pre-qualifier, but was unable to play due to Cowboys team commitments.
