Aggie Piller Posts First Nationwide Win

Congratulations to Martin Piller on winning his first title on the Nationwide Tour, the Stadion Athens Classic.

Piller was born in Dallas, grew up in Duncanville and played collegiately at Texas A&M. He turned pro in 2008 and won his very first start, the Texas State Open.

The victory pushed Piller up to No. 2 on the Nationwide money list. He trails only Bobby Gates, who happens to be Piller's former college roommate.

"(Gates) came up to me after and congratulated me and said 'good win, but you're still behind me,' " said Piller. "It gives me motivation. We're good friends and we hate losing to each other. It's just a testament to Texas A&M and the players they're producing."
